Your Data, Your Privacy
We designed plztell.me with privacy in mind. Here's what that means:
- We don't log or store your queries. Your questions and the AI's responses are processed in real-time and not retained in any database.
- Your data isn't used to train AI models. We use Google's Gemini API with a paid account, which means your prompts and responses are not used by Google to train or improve their models.
- No tracking across sessions. The free tier doesn't even require an account — we have no way to link your queries to you.

Questions
How does pay-as-you-go work?
You top up your account with $10 (or more). Each query consumes a small number of tokens based on the input and output length. Your balance decreases as you use the service. When it runs out, just top up again. There are no automatic charges or subscriptions.
What's the difference between the models?
The free tier uses Gemini 2.0 Flash, a fast and efficient model optimized for quick responses. The Pro tier uses Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google's most capable model with stronger reasoning, better code understanding, and more nuanced responses.
What does "rate limited" mean?
To keep the free tier available for everyone, we limit how many requests you can make in a given time period. For normal usage — asking a few questions throughout your day — you won't notice it. If you hit the limit, just wait a bit or upgrade to Pro for unlimited access.
Is my data really not stored?
Correct. We don't maintain a database of your queries or responses. Your data is processed in memory to generate a response, then discarded. We may keep minimal operational logs (like timestamps and truncated error messages) for debugging, but never your full queries or piped content.
Is my data used to train AI?
No. We use Google's Gemini API under a paid plan. Under Google's terms, data sent through paid API access is not used to train or improve their AI models.
